rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Aug 13, 2009 33 cl bottle. Amber/brown color, small head. Sweet, roasted aroma, some nuts and brown sugar. Flavor from burnt sugar, roasted and quite sweet. FatPhil (3440), Espoo, Finland Jul 18, 2009 Updated: Jul 19, 2009500ml can (Carrefour, Warsaw)
Very deep red, brief beige head. Vague roast aroma, a bit like a czech dark lager. Very sweet, artificially so, palate. It’s heavily doped with caramel. Having said that, it’s rather pleasant. Some burntness and light hopping accompany the caramel. Finish is burnt and roasty, and of course caramelly. Very easy to drink but I almost feel guilty giving it 2.7, as it’s a bit of a joke. estpiwo (442), Estonia Jul 10, 2009 Canned. Very dark beer with nice creamy head. Bready, caramel aroma. Flavor is malty, some caramel or light coffee sidetones. Like kvas, but impressive. Radek Kliber (3912), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Jul 2, 2009 Can 500 ml
Appearance: dark brown with pleasant amber red sides. Large frothy, creamy beige head. Sparse lace. 4- Nose: Light mineral front , dark rye bready with sweet finish of caramel. 6-. Flavor/Palate : Light smooth bodied. Bready soft malts. I wish that character was more roasty , bolder this brew could be quiet decent. Reminded me of stronger Kvas with its bready feel.
DougShoemaker (2855), Toronto, Canada Jun 30, 2009 Nose is caramel and malt, deepest brown, red at the sides, medium toffee head. Taste has a caramel malt mix, some treacle. Light bodied, pleasant sweetness, very drinkable. Good. Thanks for sharing Radek. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Dec 25, 2008 No 634

Can, 500 ml, contains extra sugar
Appearance pours wattery, brownish red, perfectly clear body in texture, carbonation is weak, head is off white, cappuccino like, there is faint lacing,
Aroma nice pure aroma of yeast, suggary sweetness, caramel, burned sugar, but not offensive sweetness, notes of grains like burnt rice, rather no hops present, generally weak,
Flavour front is fresh, refreshing, sweet and yeasty, than comes some burnt malt, grainy mild background (like of a plain Dunkel) with distinctive notes of caramell, at finish there is stickyness however this stickyness is not one dimentional, it is balanced by gentle roastyness and mild bitterness, finish duration is medium,
Palate body is light to medium (medium gravity beer), texture is rather wattery but almost syrupy, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is kind of sticky, sweet, caramelly but again balanced and not overly too sweet D (537), Poland Dec 5, 2008 New one from Okocim - pours chocolate, with medium, mostly disappearing head. The taste is like a 50/50 mixture of the very good Okocim Palone dunkel and non-alcohol caramel beer-like beverage called Karmi, also by Okocim. Surprisingly, this tastes rather well - it is still very sweet, with rather artificial caramel notes, but it has got more body and slight malt notes. Not bad.
