Lotsa caramel flavor and not at all reminiscent of beer. More of a soda. I couldn’t taste the 0.5%. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Taste is smoky, malty, slight almond quality. Light bodied, pleasanty bitter. Good for the style. Thank You Radek Kliber. larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 2, 2007 Big light beige head. Deep dark red body. Sweet papery malty roasty aroma. Sweet mild lightly roasted milky malty taste with coffee notes. Absolutely no dryness whatever. Papery roasty aftertaste. Interesting. Tastes more like wort than beer. Very bland. Smells like Chai, tastes like chai too. Very sweet with a slight bitter finish. Might be OK if your shared this with your pregnant wife or grandmother (that way you don't have to drink all of it). Still interesting. Ungstrup (15260), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 22, 2004 A dark amber beer with a fine beige head. The aroma is sour malty - is there brewing cereal in this one? or is it just because it is a light beer? The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and only hints of sourness. For a light beer it is OK. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2004 As a rule I would not even consider a non-alcohol or in this case a low alcohol beer as one to sample, but it was recommended by a friend who is quite well versed in beer, he say’s its quite drinkable, so let’s see.
The color on the pour a transpicuous deep ruby color with a modest in size creamy head that is light tan in color. Lace is a fine sheet to cover the glass. Nose is sweet malt, clean and fresh, start is cloyingly sweet, malt adequate, top is quite thin. Finish is mildly acidic, the hops very mild, quite dry, it is drinkable, and maybe something for when you not able to drink “Real Beer”.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 27, 2006 I think honestly you’ve got to set your expectations accordingly with this one. It’s a low alcohol to start, so it needs to be rated as such. As a low alcohol, i thought it tasted alot like a karamaltz from german (non alcoholic caramel cola type drink). the one big complaint is the bitterness of what i can only imagine is the artificial sweetner mixed with the sweetness of the caramel. Someone else reviewed that it tasted kind of like ice tea, and i can agree on that much. kind of a lightly carbonated caramel ice tea. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

My first lowalcohol beer to rate. Like a nisse-beer in DK. Notes of coffee, brown sugar and of course too sweet, but in the OK-end.
