The taste is very clean with hints of bread, alcohol, and metal. Better than any American Malt Liquor I have tasted. Good not great. BelgianBeerGal (1329), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Resinous, dusty nose with additional notes of honey, ethanol and corn. Harsh flavor, but not sweet. Perfectly bittered for balance. Lots of alcohol warmth. Medium to full-bodied and coarse with tingly carbonation. Finishes mostly dry. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA

Sweet malty snout with a sinister whiff of booze. Almost an imaginary hint of dangerous, tripelish apricot. Slightly smoky malt graininess and syrupy cardboard bitterness. Certainly not of the hoppy variety. Lingers with a displeasing chemical note. A waste of units. Girlfriend finished it, like the Foster’s ’Twist’. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Golden color with a thin white head that disappeares too quickly. Low carbonation (actually, very low for this type of beer). Good smell of hops that finish as soon as the head disappeares leaving a poor scent of sweet malts and alcohol. Flavor of sweet malts, grain and some hops. Some metallic and alcoholic notes on the aftertaste. Easy to drink at first for a 7% alcohol beer; at the end, however, not so easy (50cl.). Not a bad beer, but low for a european lager.
