Can. Nice golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of a grainy alcoholic maltiness. Flavour of grains and alcohol, corn glucosis, malt with some hoppiness. Quite alcoholic sweet malty finish. Quite a knock-out brew.

(Rating #856)

Pours a nice golden color with about a qarter inch of nearly white head. Nicely effervesent,a nd it leaves a bit of lace in the glass as I slowly drain it. I detect no aroma. Tastes like a good hoppy pilsner at first, then that is followed with a little rough sweetness. More hops in the aftertaste is good, but there is an odd metalic flavor in there too, which is not so good. I guess I could understand the metalic taste if it was poured from a can, but not from a bottle. A little thin in the mouthfeel, but maybe that metalic taste is playing tricks on my tastebuds. Later in the glass, I catch some sweet corn alcohol flavor. A bit above average. Better by far than an American malt liquor, but not smooth like I want a fine European lager to be

Workingmans beer of Poland. Big up front push of carmel and sweet corn/sugar. Medium golden with quickly diminishing head which fades to the ring of the glass quickly. Decent carbonation. Gentle hop nose. Gets the work done after a stressful day.

Vibrant deep-gold appearance. Inital strong hop aroma is followed by corn sugar, sweet corn and, eventually, heavy alcohol. Upon first sip, the mouth gets whopped by big, rich, flavour-dominating alcohol. Bitter hops and a touch of malt also contribute to the flavour, but its the alcohol that dominates. There are better, more restrained 7% alc./vol. strongs out there. Give this one a miss.

Llight aroma of alcohol, malt and perhaps corn. Tarnished gold color with a nonpersistent white head. Starts with malt, alcohol is noticeable in the middle, then a respectable hoppy bitterness, then some sort of vegetable thing. Decent mouthfeel.
