| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2005 Deep golden, decent head retention. A definite sharp fruit character is present in the aroma, and the alcohol is apparent too. Full bodied, moderately sweet malt with a hop kick. Finish is boxboard dry, and the alcohol lingers up the back of your nose. I thought this beer was excellent-- very full-flavoured and a pleasure to drink. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

Lager style nose with hop/malt. Quite good in mouth due to the sweetness from the alcohol. Goodish dryness on end. Strong lager with quite a nice after taste JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 28, 2005 Bottle. Dark gold colour with slim white head. Aroma is grainy, bready, yeasty, toying with being stale. Not very nice tasting, like most european strong lagers. Sweet and unpleasant and the stuff of my personal beer nightmares (I don’t like it much). bluevegie (2224), Perth, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2005 Clear orangey gold body with a compact white head. Mainly corn aroma. Light caramel in the taste as well as a touch of honey, green apples and pepper, fairly bland and just about all that I was expecting. rauchbier (3004), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Gold, shortlived thin white head and gentle condition. Slight estery fruitiness and gentle grain in the nose, full bodied and quite alcoholic in the mouth with muted fruitiness under the grain and earthy hops. Gentle hop bitter finish with some retronasal alcohol.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 28, 2005 Brown bottle from Armanetti’s, Mundelein, IL. 4.6% ABV. Clear golden yellow hued having diminishing spare head with spare lacing. Nutty malt aroma. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied that starts with slightly sweet, nutty malt flavor and finishes slightly sweet with some bitterness. Not my favorite but a decent drinkable beer. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 23, 2005 Ok I thought that this was a beautiful beer. for the style. Not ricey...not corny...not anything but decent for the style. Clean copper. Clean. Head retentioon established. Pretty beer. Nose has the usual alcohol, grain, lager yeast smell that all the euro strong lagers have. Except this one has a subtle dryness that was effective. Good smell. Flavors jump out. "Hey," they say, "We actually have hops in here! Crazy, huh?" Yeah you can taste them. Perfumey and brilliant, hops and grains alcohol. Classic beer. What beer was like in prehistoric times.
