Very good taste and it sure will knock you on your ass. I was drinking beer after beer at a pub while waiting for the time to board my train. It sneaks up on you and gives you a mad buzz. A pretty powerful beer with a pretty normal taste. Kodos (200), USA

Do not be hoodwinked: it should be $1.75 at the most for the 16oz. bottle pictured to the right. And god is it good. sleepdirt (169), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

I am usually a sucker for strong European Lagers anyway and this one did not dispappoint. Lots of good alcohol kick and some great fake malt character. I bet it would taste great ona Warsaw street corner. brewmeistersgb (10), USA

Not ricey...not corny...not anything but decent for the style. Clean copper. Clean. Head retentioon established. Pretty beer. Nose has the usual alcohol, grain, lager yeast smell that all the euro strong lagers have. Except this one has a subtle dryness that was effective. Good smell. Flavors jump out. "Hey," they say, "We actually have hops in here! Crazy, huh?" Yeah you can taste them. Perfumey and brilliant, hops and grains alcohol. Classic beer. What beer was like in prehistoric times.
