CUJO (339), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 12, 2009 500ml: pint glass: picked this gem up from a secret spot in NJ... they have all the good filth! Pours a golden straw leaving a tiny head ring. Smells skunky, tastes like skunk pee. at least I got a new country and a retired beer out of this one! OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Aug 28, 2009 I bought this as a single at one of the local liquor store. Pours a crystal clear gold with a bubbly white head. Nice skunky taste a clean finish. Not too shabby. I wasn’t expecting much out of this one anyway. dkoonce (879), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Aug 26, 2009 From all the recent reviews, this must not be retired. Clear amber, with a massive white head. Malty aroma, with some sourness. Medium body, with a long finish. chibbyman (19), kabul, Afghanistan Jul 26, 2009 nothing special, but decant balance & with malt backbone. good lawnmower beer durhambeer (1186), Durham, USA Jun 13, 2009 Bottle from A Southern Season. Pours clear gold with small white head. Grainy corn, some malt. Kinda like a mix of a lager and a Bass. Drinkable, but that’s it. daknole (2800), Plantation, Florida, USA May 17, 2009 Bottle from Zekes on South Beach. Light gold pour wtih a small whtie head. Very malty and sweet on the nose. Some corn and grain. Flavor is better than I thought it would be. Not one I would want to drink again, but it did go down smooth. Lots of malt, corn, a bit of bitterness. PorterPounder (3131), Tallahassee, Florida, USA May 16, 2009 Updated: May 23, 2009Rerate After drinking the whole six of this in a course of a week - this stuff started to grow on me - up a notch.Original 2.4 Tallahassee, Fl. - 330 ml bottle - ABC Liquors. One of those beers I always overlooked as I thought I had rated. Pours a pale golden with an extremely minimal white head. Wort like aroma with some spent grain accents and hint of yeast. Typical eastern bloc euro flavor with some sweet biscuit like maltiness, a hint of saaz hoppiness and just a brief mention of pepper. Mouthfeel is slightly thin with a bit of a metallic finish. Hudspart (371), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Apr 27, 2009 Ok Lager. Drank from a bottle at a PRCU outside of Detroit. Drinkable, but only because my other choices were macros from the US.
