Crisp lager flavor, some honey, very light on flavor, very clean. Not bad for working in the yard during the summer. But not a lot going on either. arjoseph (594), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Poured from bottle to mouth, multiple times. Not a bad beer. Like a pilsner mixed with Balantine’s XXX malt liquor. More body than I expected. Malty up front, somewhat fruity with some muddled bread dough, and faint lemon grass in the bland finish. Again, not bad. There was no head, and it had a slightly lemony flavor. This would be better served cold and is "OK" for a hot summer’s day but little else. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 12, 2007 Pours sickly yellow with a small white head. Nose is sour malt and corn mash. The flavor is sweet and sour, rather stale, very little hops character. Thin and watery. Bleh. NachlamSie (1654), Tennessee, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 9, 2007 Bottle split with my Polish roomie. Pours a bold gold color with a nice tall white head. Aroma is mildly skunked with corn husks, hay, some paper. Flavor is better and certainly cleaner, but not great. There’s a fairly malty foundation providing some sugary character, wooden hops, corn, basically this is a yellow lager. That being said, it is relatively clean and crisp given some of its abominable peers and it could certainly be worse. I’m glad I got it for free. I might drink one of these again if it was free and I was already drunk and eager to get even drunker. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 5, 2007 It is what it is. I got this for free, so I’m rating it. Clear yellow liquid with little bubbles coming to the top, a large but quickly thinning white head. Surprising given the lack of a hiss when I opened this... not that surprising given I accidentally frozen this beer solid. anyhow. The nose smells like corny adjunct. No skunk really, but there’s some slightly spicy hops, nothing special though. In the mouth this does what a lager is supposed to. On the thin side with a little bit of body, but not overboard. The flavor is similarly described. I can taste the adjunct ladenness. This reminds me of the champaign of beers! Corny sorts of flavors a bit of toast and some very light spicey hops. A little bit of skunk, but barely noticable. Grainy aftertaste. I swear I can taste the alcohol in this, which given the ABV is a bad sign. Still, I could chug this on a hot day. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
