Was nice with a darker beer after all the pale brews. Unfortunetly its not one of the better. At first the aroma was decent, toasted bread mainly. Then it turned into cooked vegetables, and a completly dominating brown sugar sweetness. The sweetness follows into the flavor, with the roasted flavors comming through again in the finish. Overall it leaves a dry bitterness...which is kind of nice, but wierd considering the flavor. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Malty roasty nose with a nice flavor. Very intense and warming brew. Smoky, earthy, malty, sweet, and bitter. Very interesting brew. Try one if you get the chance. asedzie (456), San Francisco, California, USA
