Commercial Description:
13.4P
The dark colour and intense taste is due to a unique process of malt fire-burning. A process that requires craftsmanship and precision from the brewer. As a result a beer has been created with a slightly sweet taste at first sip and a nice bitter follow through.

500 ml bottle. It pours a pure, midnight black in color with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is a sweet and smokey. The flavor is of espresso and bitter chocolate. It has a creamy mouthfeel and sweet and sticky finish. Such a great dark session beer.

Bottle from La Mesa Market. Dark ruby in color upon pouring. Strong malty aroma with a bit of sweetness. Some coffee and chocolate as well. Sweet malty flavored. Some roastiness. Palate is a little watery. Good flavoring but could use a little more body.

Pours a dark brown with a huge foaming head. Somewhat cola colored all around. Aroma was toffee caramel. Flavor also toffee caramel, medium to light in palate, with a fair bit of sweetness rounding off the finish. There might be just a touch of spicy/grassy hop but its very subtle. Just the vaguest hint of tart or is it a mild huskiness? Very easy drinking, this one.
