500ml bottle. Deep, dark black color, with a little brown maybe. Nice lasting head. The aroma is rather brutal. One would think they are about to have some World Wide Stout or some chocolate schnapps. The taste is surprisingly creamy, with a slight warming in the finish. Roasty, pungent chocolate flavors, not unlike a Caribbean Stout. Lots of rich Bock and Dunkel characteristics as well. Good example of a Baltic Porter in some ways, but the alcohol becomes a little too apparent towards the beer the more you sip.

500 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse. Dark reddish brown color with a fizzy medium head. Roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla notes in the aroma, that almost has an oaked character. Taste is very similar, with an additional lactic sweetness. Alcohol is hidden well. Moderate carbonation, medium body.

500ml brown bottle. Deep brown in color, almost opaque. Very lacy head of deep beige foam. Deminishes slightly but is still full and smooth. Chocolate and light roasted malt aroma. Quite a rich flavour of strong dark malts, chocolaty, roasted notes with some noticable alcohol warming. Robust body.

Strong malty aroma. The flavour is also strong, the alcohol and sweetness overpower the palate, but it balances out to a fairly smooth smokey finish. Probably a bit too sweet.

500ml - Aroma of rusty water and roasty chocolate malt. Pours very dark garnet with a big brown creamy head and great lacing. Flavor is creamy chocolate, roasted malts, brown sugar and caramel. Palate is creamy and clean. Pretty tasty but I like my porters to have a little bite.

Bottle. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Caramel and roasted aroma, a bit boozy with fruit and brown sugar. Sweet flavor with chocolate, brown sugar and fruit. Roasted coffee finish. Not bad.
