Clear, deep brown appearance with a small, light brown head. Malty aroma full of dark fruit, molassass and caramel. Sweet, malty, fruity taste with hints of chocolate and caramel, even some nuttiness buried beneath the sweetness. Full bodied mouthfeel with a good kick from the abv. Lingering finish allows time to dwell on the positives.

Pour was nice and dark with a wonderful tan head. Aroma was of alcohol and brownies. Flavor began with an alcoholic kick that finished more with the porter flavor of chocolate, malt, and light molasses. Decent brew except for the alcohol dominating the aroma and flavor. Also a bit high for a porter. Body was too thin to support that much alcohol. Probably won’t go out of my way to buy again

Pours black with tan head that dissipates readily. Both sweet and bitter flavors. Very nice mouth feel and clean finish. Very strong and too much for drinking alone. It should be paired with strong, maybe salty, food.

(POLAND) Pours black with med tan head. The aroma is of molasses, chocolate, and licorice !! The flavor has a sweet cookie dough / alcohol taste, with a ultra smooth palate and some nice lacing, The finish is dry, But mild. Overall i would say it’s refreshing and well balanced.

Dark rich pour with a tan head and good lacing. Rich sweet flavor heavy on the malts and just a touch of hop bitterness in the finish.

12-oz. Pours black with a thick, creamy tan head that falls quickly to a slim rim. Big sweet molasses and chocolate nose. Medium, creamy body with subdued carb. Chocolate all over the mid-palate, along with some pruniness and maybe some other dark pitted tree fruit. Mild, fairly brief sweet finish. I’m pretty sure I’ve rated this beer, but either way, I’ve enjoyed it for at least a couple years. Always a pleasure to drink.

Poured beautifully, a dark brown opaque colour, with a beautiful chocolaty head. Aroma was nice, smelling of burnt malt and a hint of chocolate. Things went down hill with the taste. I was overwhelmed with an alcohol taste, coupled with a burnt after taste. I didn’t much care for that. While this beer was one of the most beautiful pours I’ve ever seen, the taste didn’t match.

V - Pours a thin black with a two finger head that settled quickly A - dark coffee, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Reminiscent of barleywine. T - dark coffee and chocolate with some cherry cordial like elements. P - clean
