Large, fluffy, light tan head that leaves behind scattered sheets of lacing. Anise dominates the aroma, with chocolate liquor, mocha milkshake, and cane sugar adding a huge deal of sweetness to the scent. The flavor is intensely sweet. Massive anise is accompanied by sweet chocolate, vanilla candy, and hints of hazelnuts. Medium body that is sweet, sticky, and cloying. Looks appealing, but much too candy like for my taste. Intensely sweet. Saarlander (1581), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2007 500 ml. bottle. Deep ruby/mahogany when held up to the light. Large and sturdy tan head with decent lace. Rich chocolate aroma with hints of figs and dates. Smooth on the palate with light carbonation and a medium/full body and a satisfying richness. Molasses sweetness dominates, and just a hint of peppery bitterness to take the edge off, but the finish remains slightly sweet, but by no means objectionable. Alcohol was never in evidence. Very drinkable, a worthy example of the style. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Bottle at Emerald Coast Beerfest. Very dark brown in color with a tan head that lasted to lace the glass. Excellent flavor of dark roasted malt and dark fruit. Very clean after taste. This was my first genuine Baltic Porter and I really liked it a lot. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Poured a dark brown color with a nice tan head that dissipated slowly. Aroma was chocolate, roasted malts, and dark fruit. Flavor was sweet, featuring raisins and roasted malt. Mouthfeel was good and drinkability was ok. Pretty good stuff. Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2007 another overly sweet Baltic style Porter, which remains true to the style but in my opinion causes these Porters to pale against the American style... Okocim is one of the better ones though, with a better balance between alcohol and malty sweetness kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
