bottle. black with thick foamy tan head. big fresh raisons, roasted malts and a bit of bread in the aroma. very sweet. raison, sugars, candy, coffee. alcohol has a strange presence and plays the flavor. not bad but not one I’d go for often. The raisons are so identifiable, more than in any beer I’ve had.

(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Dark brown pour with red highlights and a puffy tan head. Aroma is very sweet and dark with some roasted malts, dark fruits, a little bit of alcohol, and candy. Flavor is very rich with some nice dark malts, roasted chocolate and coffee flavors, and a smooth caramel and malt finish. Very nice porter all around.

Bottle from Bevmo. Very dark in color. Aroma is oily and roasted. Lots of raisins with a little chocolate. Rich a flavorful. Lots of roasted coffee. Some alcohol is noticable. This beer is certainly a bargain.

draft- imperial porter that really packs a punch. Seriously. The alcohol is really appearent. Bourbon taste, oak chips, almost stout like. Not one I would go to again, but interesting.

Bottle. Wow. What an impressive beer. This definitely challenges any preconceived notions one might have about Polish beer. Dark brown pour - almost black with a foamy white head. Faint, but pleasant barley aroma. Rich malty flavors of milk chocolate, caramel and hazelnuts. Velvety smooth for such a dark beer. This is easily one of the best porters I’ve tried.
