Bottle. Medium sized tan fizzy head that mostly diminished, poor amount of lacing, semi-opaque, visible carbonation on the sides of the mug, and a dark brown with a hint of ruby for the hue. Nose was malty, semi-sweet and chocolate. Flavor was semi-sweet, malty, chocolate, mildly vinuous, and somewhat thick tasting. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth and somewhat thick. Medium body. Decent for the style, quaffable, goes down smooth. Worthy of a try.

Large light brown head of medium sized bubbles. Minimal carbonation. Soft malt and milk chocolate aroma with some sweetness. Bit of roastynes also. Color is a very dark brown. Sweet and roasty flavor. Some soy sauce, milk chocolate again, brown sugar and toasted marshmallow. Sweet and creamy in the mouth. Finishes smooth and sweet. Light alcohol presence. A decent baltic porter but a little on the sweet side.

Thick darker beige head. Black in colour. Sweet and malty in scent with a hint of apple. A bit light in body, sweet tasting, too sweet. Good in small doses, but that’s it.

Roasted malt aroma, fairly dark roasted, accompanied by a little chocolate. Dark brown color with a transient tan head. Starts malty sweet, followed by really dark roasted flavors, something of a molasses character. Suggestions of dark fruit, but not finding chocolate. Rather full mouthfeel. The finish is mostly malt residue, not finding any bitter. Although there is a chocolate character remaining!

Pours a deep brown color with a light brown head. Aroma is malty, roasty, and chocolate malts. Flavor is of roasted malts with notes of chocolate.

The aroma is floral and sweet with hints of vinegar and burn malt. The appearance is dark brown with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma and not too good but there are subtle hints of chocolate and roasted malts. The palate is thin with an acidic, cardboard aftertaste. This is either a very bad beer or a very stale one and I am inclined to believe the former.

Poured a clear dark ruby color with a thin beige head. Sweet and fruity roasted malt. Just a hint of chocolate. Roasty malt with a mix of dark fruits and chocolate. Very tasty. Medium to full bodied.

Pours deep mahogany into an English pint. Mocha pancake head slowly recedes to skim surface. Tangy coffee aromas. Thin and sour with a lasting sweet espresso finish. Burning alcohol. Then I had some sausage -- points go way up...
