Burnt malt aroma, dark black color. Chocolate and coffee flavors, with strong alcohol finish and lingering sweetness. Not bad, a good winter beer.

This porter poured a dark black colouir with a bi-coloured head. Frothy at the bottom and creamy on the top. To the nose there is cocoa, ripe fruit and wine. First taste was smooth and roasty with flavours of chocolate and roasted malt with a little hop finish. The palate is slighly bitter with the roast lingering through to the end.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet and again with roasted malt being most dominant, and this carries all the way thru to the end.

Bottled. Dark reddish brown coloured. Light brown head. Alcohol, roast, some sweetness and chocolate in the aroma. Flavour is sweet and roasty. Is quite sugary and cocoadense. Medium bodied. Has a roasty bitter end with quite notable alcohol. A bit of a dissapointment. Thanks to Sammy for the trade.

Bottle. A dark red brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is of chocolate, rye bread and alcohol, and the taste is sweet sugar, chocolate and alcohol in a medium body with a sweet light alcoholic finish.

This has a classic porter color and a very nice carmel like nose. It has nice notes of brown sugar style malt and has a real fine finsih.

500 ml bottle - pours dark dark brown with a small rapidly diminishing head. Aroma quite grapey, sweet and malty. Alcohol fairly present in the aroma as well, but given the ABV, that’s to be expected. Very nice flavour, sweet, roasted malts, some coffee, chocolate and dark fruit. A dry nutshell sort of flavour too. Beautiful mouthfeel, with soft carbonation perfectly in place. Almost feels like a cask beer in the mouth. Medium finish with more roasted coffee and a pleasant bitterness. A real joy to drink, and certainly the best in Okocim’s lineup, though too much sweetness as the beer warms hampers the overall score.

Bottled. Dark brown coloured with an off-white head. Aroma of dark sweet bread and caramel. Extremely sweet and syrupy flavour. Medium bodied. Unbalanced.
