Also very sweet. I do not like coffee, therefore this beer did not appeal to my tastes. Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

Strong aroma with sweetness. Very dark, almost opaque. Only red light could get through the bottle. Excellent lace. Light tan head. Quite sweet. Higher alcohol. Has some hops. After having the Okocim Palone, I am again pleasantly surprised by Okocim. Perhaps my favorite beer of the fest. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate and molasses. Body is dark with a very minimal head. Flavor matches aroma pretty well, but there is an overwhelming sweetness that I didn’t care for. mybrainhurts (214), North Dakota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2006 Nice porter appearance and lacing. Aroma of peppery alcohol, chocolate powder, and metal scraps. Maybe a hint of vanilla extract. Roasted dark malts, sticky molasses, and tobacco. Long alcoholic finish. Cloying and way to sweet. Not really that great.
