The guy on the label looks very pleased with his mug of beer. I’d be pleased if I had a beard like him. The Zagtoba is slightly darker than the Okocim OK, and a bit sharper. It’s not quite what I imagine when I think pilsener, a little maltier and a little more body, but if all pilseners were like this, I wouldn’t complain.

Clean golden colorwith a huge head of fluffy white suds. Decent Lace. The flavor profile is very good, with balanced hops and malt. A nice crisp smooth finish. All in all, a very nice package.

Pours a deep golden color. Slight hop aroma and flavor. Nothing special about this beer. Very carbonated.

Blah. I am not a pilsner fan so it is no surprise that I didn’t enjoy this beer. Very boring gold color with bland bordering on skunky taste and aroma.

I had the can version, which probably didn’t help much. I found this to be pretty weak and watery. Unattractive gold color with a thick white head. No real lacing to speak of. Slight hops in the aroma but that was about it. Very dry finish and really lacking in the flavor department. I hope the Mocne is better...

I believe my bottle was old. The beer was golden, thinner in texture, and not very flavorful. It had a musty oldness to it as well in both the smell and flavor.
