big head, way too light even for a pilsner, no flavor

Good beer. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A little tart on first tasting. Excellent deep golden appearance. witha decent head and some lacing.

Decent, easy drinking pilsener. Flavor is a little more on the malty side than expected, with a small amount bitterness.

With a label that depicts an Orson Welles-lookalike drinking a cold one, Zagtoba beckoned me from the liquor store shelf. Of late, I’ve become something of a fan of Czech/Polish lagers - who knew they could be as good as Obolon and Boom, but Zagtoba’s not quite in that league.

A very good lager / pilsner. Crisp yet does have a nice, bitter flavor.

Clear gold in color, white head and fair lace. Malt nose, front lightly malt sweet, the top light, the finish is acidic, dry, some hops present, a typical ’Pilsener’, just not my ’Bottle of Beer’.
