Jul 31, 2002 Good beer. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A little tart on first tasting. Excellent deep golden appearance. witha decent head and some lacing.

Jun 14, 2002 With a label that depicts an Orson Welles-lookalike drinking a cold one, Zagtoba beckoned me from the liquor store shelf. Of late, I’ve become something of a fan of Czech/Polish lagers - who knew they could be as good as Obolon and Boom, but Zagtoba’s not quite in that league.

May 5, 2002 Clear gold in color, white head and fair lace. Malt nose, front lightly malt sweet, the top light, the finish is acidic, dry, some hops present, a typical ’Pilsener’, just not my ’Bottle of Beer’.
