Appearance: Copper gold with medium light white crown. 3- Nose: Plain sweet malt with noticeable alcohol. Flavor/Palate : Slight bitterness from front leading till finish. Fuller bodied with fairly solid malt work. Slight alcohol accents blended in. Late hops are welcomed. Bigger , stronger almost like Mocne but with less alcohol. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland May 11, 2008 Rated: 28.06.2007
Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 13,1%
Appearance: .Pours light golden but looks a bit wattery like pee. Head is creamy white, foamy, irregular, carbonation is medium, the head is quite strong, slowly decreasing, giving some lacing.
Aroma: Chalky, a little bit metallic, quite fresh, soft, nice mild malty base, almost no hoppy.
Flavour: A little bit sweet, a little bit wattery, nice mild malty sweetness, very clear, very fresh and that almost like milky or creamy malty sweetness is very well balanced with bitter hoppyness. Flavour is very good but not quite strongly distinquishable.
Palate: A little carbonation on palate, neutral, drinkeable, good for a hot day.
DruncanVeasey (2690), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Oct 27, 2007 Bottled. Spritzy and smooth bodied. Waxy lemon aroma with a sniff of hop grassiness. Quite a clean tasting lager with grainy malt, cardboard and chewed pencil. Bread and corn in the aftertaste. Nothing offensive or worth returning to. Better than the standard lager. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Sep 2, 2007 Medium shiny offwhite head. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Light apple and hop aroma. Watery mouthfeel. Dry, sharpish tea and apple taste with clear grassy hoppy aftertaste. Notes of paper, too. Not bad with the hops, but still bland. (0.5l bottle at the Ratuszowa in Krakow.) Quack-Duck (3123), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany Jul 27, 2007 golden yellow, medium-sized head. Perfumed nose. Perfumed flavour, flowery and malty, reminds me a bit of Dog in the Fog. Quite interesting. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil Jul 14, 2007 Can. Golden color with a nice white head, hop and fruity aroma, flavor is malty and nice bitterness.
Cerveja dourada com boa espuma, aroma com notas de lúpulo e frutado, sabor maltado e bom amargor. Jukkabro (2981), Tampere, Finland Jun 7, 2007 Golden colored, little white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is surprisingly hopped with even some sweet herbal anis tone and hay, reminds me of some Zubrowka! Medium bodied. Flavor is more harsh and biting with some metallic hops and lemon, some hay in dry aftertaste with hints of alcohol. lushleague (5), Berwyn, Illinois, USA does not count Mar 2, 2007 My favorite Polish Beer ... it’s got more "oomph" to it than Tyskie or Zywiec. I’m a lil concerned ... this page says it is "Retired" - I swear I bought a 4-Pack with the same label last summer!
