Commercial Description:
Specially brewed for Ölhallen 7-an in Göteborg, Sweden. Note: New recipe compared to previous version "Öl-Hallen 7-an mörkare än det andra" by Herrljunga Bryggeri (Gamlestaden).

Draft. A chestnut colored beer with a lazing light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as light notes of butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and toffee, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish.

Bottle at Ölhallen 7-an, Götheborg. Brewed exclusively for that location. shared with Gnoff. pours copper, creamy beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted, some chocolate and caramel. Taste, similar to the aroma, light caramel notes, profile is more on the malty side, light hops without impacting the mouthfeel. Light, and easy to drink.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 21 Sep 2007) Dark brown colour with firm, creamy, pale brown head. Malty nose with dark and/or dried fruit, brewing-house and wort leaning in the small beer direction. Malty taste with notes of chocolate, toffee, wort and dark rye bread. Some wort sweetness comes through, but turns drier towards the fairly short finish. Not very bitter. Very promising aromas, but flavour doesn’t really deliver according to expectations. Still a nice brew.
