pours copper, creamy beige head.
Aroma is malty, roasted, some chocolate and caramel.
Taste, similar to the aroma, light caramel notes, profile is more on the malty side, light hops without impacting the mouthfeel.
Light, and easy to drink. Svesse (2682), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2007 (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 21 Sep 2007) Dark brown colour with firm, creamy, pale brown head. Malty nose with dark and/or dried fruit, brewing-house and wort leaning in the small beer direction. Malty taste with notes of chocolate, toffee, wort and dark rye bread. Some wort sweetness comes through, but turns drier towards the fairly short finish. Not very bitter. Very promising aromas, but flavour doesn’t really deliver according to expectations. Still a nice brew. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden
