Gravity, Masons Arms, Oxford. Sour-leaning, woody aroma. Old barns, silage. Bright caramel flavor with just a bit of the sourness of the aroma to give it bite. good depth of flavor, some pleasant metalic toast notes emerge. Refreshing but not too thin. A rustic old fashioned ale.

Cask conditioned at The Masons Arms, Oxford. Brown Amber with white bubbly head. I am enjoying this retro move to darker bitters, for the deeper flavours, however; this one is a bit raw around the edges, not too refined. Quite thin, dry and heavily bitter, there is a greenish hop note to finish up. I liked it butcould also see its faults. It must have been popular because the pin was finished in an afternoon.
