Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with notes of prunes, alcoho, and oxidation. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of prunes, alcohol, grapefruit, wood, and soy sauce. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the mouth.

Bottled at RBESG. Black as night, beige head. Evident vanilla and oak aroma with cocoa and coffee underneath. Fairly sweet with full body. Careful soft chococlate and coffee flavour. Quite reminiscent of Kaggen, but with more oak and sweetness. Less salty licorice and more oak than in the regular version. Very well made.

(Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg/Chris_o. Vintage 2002. Pours completely opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma of raisins and bourbon - or oak rather. Quite full-bodied with loads and loads of roasted malt, dried and overripe fruit accents. Again some oak and vanilla appears in the flavour. The bitterness is very subdued. A very satisfying brew. 270607
