Fin (2568), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Oct 28, 2008 Bottle in a mixed case posted out from the brewery Oct 08, consumed 28-10-08 Pours hazy golden in colour with off white head. The taste is instantly refreshing, ginger kicks in first with a slow burn then the crispness of the lemon nips in and the resulting beer has an almost tonic like fruity dry character, very summery but still bloomin’ marvellous in late October. Once again a lovely beer. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 25, 2008 (Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy pale golden with a rough off-white head. Clean ginger aroma. Light body, lightly tart with notes of citrus and distinct, burning ginger accents. Dry finish. A quenching summer fresger. 031008 Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2008 Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of spices - especially ginger. The flavor is sweet and again with strong notes of ginger, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is thin. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.
