Bottle from Bottle Trek. Pours a hazy ruby orange with a three-finger off-white head. Aroma is rather malt and honey. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is sweet dark malt, something spicely like ginger (duh -that’s on the label), and then a darkish honey. Finishes less than dry. Interesting though.

Bottle. Cloudy brown body, with a large, creamy, long lasting head. Aroma is sweet, honey, alcohol. Flavor is the same. To sweet for me.

Cloudy brown with a small white head. Aroma of honey and spice ... notes of ginger and white pepper. Rich, dark taste: potent alcohol with earthy, honeyed malt. Sweet. Delicious.

Had this one giving me an evil glance from the shelf for about a year, feared what it might do to me. At first it looked good. Hazy brown/orange with i fine creamy brown head. The aroma is appalling, like some evil spirituosa mixed with a regular beer. Its full of alchohol, cloying soapy sweetness and honney. The flavor isnt any better. Overwhelmingly strong without a body to back it up and with a harsh soapy bitterness. I’ve had drain poors before, but it has been because i didnt care much for the brew, this one i simply could not drink and since thats the first time it has happened to me, there was no doubt in my mind how i should rate it. On top of the undrinkable nature of this beer, i only brought one other beer for the footballmatch that evening, so i was out after 10 minutes. On top on top of that, the match ended in an epic failure with FCK missing the champions league .....DAMNIT!

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma is sweetness of honey, apple, cinnamon, caramel and vague spices. Now that I have read the label it must be ginger spice I’m getting. The taste is smooth rich honey sweetness and somewhat thin. I get more honey, sweet malts, a thin layer of caramel and a sense of booze as the experience progresses. Into the finish it ends with the addition of apples and herbs.
