argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, some berry, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, earthy/floral, some caramel. Medium-full body. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 7, 2004 Golden amber color. The aroma is hoppy and a little sweet & floral, not too assertive but the finish is good. This is easy to drink but not that fantastic. acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Dec 27, 2003 Light and clear orange. Moderately hopped aroma with a strong scotch, orange and wood flavor. Grapefruit courness and a nice palate. Good woody IPA. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 17, 2006 I thought this was fairly basic. A middle of the road IPA if you will. Has very litte aroma at all, and the flavor is lacking in hoppiness and maltiness with the flavors somehow missing each other for balance. Soapy with just a hint of butter as it warms. Aubrey (2557), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 22, 2004 [RBSG04] Nice medium amber hue, mostly cloudy and opaque. Nice and gentle carbonation level. Huge caramel sweetness exuded from every crevice. Definitely favored the malt end of things. Although, hops were somewhat complementing, and they had a decent amount of bitterness, especially in the finish. A little grapefruit, too. Pretty good IPA.
