For an IPA, not quite bitter, for an amber too much. Kind of a weird brew, but good nonetheless.

On tap at the Old Market Portland OR. Pours out amber topped with a white head. A nice hop aroma. With the name Hop on one would think IPA????

This is a very nice little APA. A very big grapefruit nose, and also that trademark hoppy funkiness with a nice fresh malty aroma as well. This has a very pleasing flavor on the palate, very well balanced and one of the better beers I tried here.

Tap. An amber?? From the name I expected an IPA. Deep amber in color, scant off-white head. Malt and hop aroma, much more hop presence than I would expect from an amber ale. Medium bodied. Pleasant hop flavor with adequate malt balance. Fair as an IPA better as an amber

On tap at the Old Market. This brew’s flavor let me down a bit from the initial crisp big hop nose. Lots of hops in the aroma give this brew a sweet hop start. The flavor however has a big lemon soap presence to it, reminds me of electrasol detergent. Very oily on the palate, this brew had some great potential with all the big hops, but the soapiness really ruined this brew.
