Commercial Description:
Hopcask is proudly described as an "overly -hopped" Belgian Tripel, dry-hopped with a triple blend of Amarillo, Simcoe and Centennial hops Noble Saaz and Tettnanger hops give this beer a spicy, floral nose. Bourbon barrel aging with even more hops adds a rich complexity to this big but surprisingly light beer.

Sampled at 2008 Oregon Brewers Festival. Very hoppy and almost spicy, yet smooth. Very tasty

OBF. One of the many highlights from the fest that I didn’t expect. Interesting mix of big hop flavor, light oak and an assertive bitterness. Not too sweet at all. Would gladly take more.

OBF 2008. Very nice beer, Old Market should look into doing this more often, I thought this was one of the best beers, if not the best, that i’ve had from them. Crisp hops bring life to a estery tripel. The citrus from the hops pairs nicely with the fruitiness of the yeast esters, along with a touch of woodiness in the finish.

On tap at the Old Market Portland OR. Pours out a clear gold topped with a white head. Aroma of hops and sweetness. Tast nice sweet malts and some wood.

At the Oregon Brewers Festival 2008--Poured an orange-amber body with a medium wispy white head. Funky armpit hops nose. Flavor of mild bubblegum and candy. Faint bourbon notes. Spicy and complex. Yum!
