Although it is somewhat vegetal and earthy, with some inherent spiciness, but it never overdoes itself, it is not extremely overpowering. It does however have a couple of levels of spiciness, the first spiciness hits you right in the nose and burns a little bit, and then the second wave rushs over your palate and then fades away. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA

Aroma is malty and somewhat vegetal. Light bodied. Flavor is Cave Creek Redux. Not quite as harsh and painful as Crazy Ed’s elixir but still this is a pepper dominated beer in flavor. A very quick malt sweetness is erased quickly by the capsaicin. Long medium hot burn. Fair, but you are better off having food with this one. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA

Aroma is sweet, lots of pepper, hint of lime and some other fruitiness. Taste starts quickly sweet, then the pepper burn starts, really hot and long lasting. Quite a nice pepper beer. I think it could use a bit more beer taste to it, but still a great spicy brew. Volgon (2489), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
