argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, some berry, light jalapeno. Taste is medium sweet up top, turns jalapeno mid-tongue and gets quite hot/burn into swallow. Light-medium body. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 7, 2004 Clear golden color, little to no head. Malty aroma. Flavor is citrusy initially with lots of lime. Then the spark of fire lights in the back of your throat. Finishes warm on the way down. Interesting to say the least. acrdz (4283), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 30, 2003 Smells slightly sweet, like peaches with only a mild chili presence. Can’t taste the chilis, but they sure do bite at the back of the throat. One-demensional. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 17, 2006 For what this is, this was exceptionally tasty. Although it is somewhat vegetal and earthy, with some inherent spiciness, but it never overdoes itself, it is not extremely overpowering. It does however have a couple of levels of spiciness, the first spiciness hits you right in the nose and burns a little bit, and then the second wave rushs over your palate and then fades away. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Aug 3, 2004 RBSG 2004, on tap at the brewpub: Amber with a small white head. Flowers and hot green peppers in the aroma, long mellow burn that is followed by a strong pepper burn in the aftertaste.
