Commercial Description:
A crisp golden ale, flavored with Granny Smith apples, it was the runaway bast seller among 72 beers at the 1996 Oregon Brewer's Festival.

On tap at the Old Market Portland OR. Pours out clear gold topped with a small head. A nice sour apple aroma on this one. Tast off apples not bad.

{Tap - Old Market Pub] Off yellow with a light head. The aromja was light as a light beer would beer. The apple flavor was very light and almost like I have seen jolly rancher type. It was Ok as fruit beers go.

This has a bit of toffee and sour apple jolly rancher flavor, with just a bit of caramel covered apple fruitiness, almost vinous and ciderish at times. Not very tasty or easy to drink.

On tap at the Old Market. This was an interesting brew, but the thing I don’t like about Old Market’s fruit beers is the artificial/candy sweetening taste that they get. This brew had an apple taste that only really reminded me of apple jollyrancher, I wish they would use real fruit instead of whatever artificial stuff they use. Overly sweet and candy taste leaves this brew tasting like one of those sweet green apple icicle pops.
