650mL bottle - pours black. Thinner than I like my stouts. A little sour on the palate. Flavour is dominated more by fruit than chocolate. Drinkable, but definitely disappointing.

A fairly decent stout, but not the best I’ve had. Pours with a very dark, murky colour and a think, creamy head that drops off fairly quicky. Aroma shows the malt with a hint of the chocolate. Taste is much the same, although a bit thin near the end.

pours brown/black with tan head. Aroma of choco, roastiness. Same for the flavour, some astrigence. Light bodied.

Bottle shared by Kevin. Pours black with a small, fizzy, light brown head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (molasses, burnt, meal), light hops (herbs), heavy yeast (leather, musty) with notes of prunes, soy sauce, and cardboard. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness.
