| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Having never consumed patxaran, I am a little bit handcuffed with this rating, but here goes. It is an effervescent pink-accented amber colour. There’ s a hint of pink in the head as well. The footy, dusty aroma is both floral and fruity. Firm, malty palate with slight berryish note and light florals. Finishes with a creamy, sweet mouthfeel. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Bottle at Le Sous-Bock, Paris The bottle kept spitting foam for 30 minutes; it pours a dark amber color, with a lot of small particles in it; it has obviously a very big head. The aroma is strange, it can be a mix of herbs and lemonade. Medium body structure, with some residual sweetness, but no special flavor. The Patxaran (whatever it is), may be detected in the aftertaste. Very ordinary, smooth, sweetish beer, with a strange touch. Bov (5490), Bienne, Switzerland
