Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 23, 2008 Brought to Tampa by brewer Jeremy, thanks buddy. Pours brilliant clear copper with white head. The aroma is pretty roasty with a solid rye component. Wow, nice and malty with mild hop notes I can’t really pin down. The taste is much the same starting with a vague yet varied hop bitterness and solid mild roastiness moving to chocolate malts followed up by a very tasty rye twang. Near pine bitterness sort of rises up into the finish to round this out. gunhaver (1024), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 13, 2008 Growler, courtesy the brewer. Pours a dark golden hue, with a thick creamy white head and very sticky lacing. Aroma of rye, sticky sweet malts, and sweet fruit like subtle peach. Dry malt flavors, rye, nice sweet wheat. Very creamy mouthfeel, crisp, and drinkable. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 10, 2008 Growler courtesy of Jeremy the brewer. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, spicy rye, slight roast, and a touch of citrus. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Good. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Feb 14, 2008 Appearance: Clear, dark copper body with a small, off-white head.
Smell: Meek aroma of spicy, grainy rye.
Taste: Touch of dry maltiness that doesn’t really deliver any sweetness. Vague rye hints. Crisp, clean hop bitterness. Touch of acidity. Finishes grainy.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I didn’t care for this one at all. By far my least favorite of the Olde Auburn roster. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Catch Her in the Rye

BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Apr 26, 2007 Draught. Pours light copper-bronze with a spare white head, spare lacing, mostly diminishing. Aroma is average malt (bread, caramel), average hops (herbs), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of rye. Light bodied, sticky texture, soft carbonation and a bitter finish. Light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness; straw and meal malt, earth flavor. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 3, 2007 Cakey, fruity malt aroma. Brownish gold, with filmy white head. Crisp hops, some diacetyl, biscuity. slightly briny, not sweet at all. Medium starchy body. Biscuity aftertaste. Good choice for good pairing.
brianprentiss (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Feb 11, 2007 This is their "premier" beer. It somehow won the bronze and the Great American Beer Festival, and I have no idea how. It’s okay, about on par with PBR, but that’s as much of a complement as I can give.
