Unfortunately this was not all I had hoped for. Poured a light orange color with a wispy head. Very light carbonation. Aroma was very light with grainish malts and lightly crisp hops. Nothing fancy or too pronounced. Some malt backbone with rye sweetness to this with well balanced pine-like hops. Easy drinking. Body was light and watery (too much so). Although I swear this smelled like dirty feet at first, for some reason it was appealing. Then on the first swallow, this actually stands like a good pale ale, hoppy and tasty. I had to do a double take with the bartender to make sure he didn’t mix this "rye" with an IPA. The one downfall was an almost detergent finish. Despite this review, I liked this beer. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
