Dark brown with a thick head. Chocolate malt nose shows some huskiness. Light body, with some chocolate notes and a hint of nuttiness. OK rendition of style.

At CCB. Brown-black with foamy tan head. A little tartness in the nose but otherwise creamy stout aromas. The flavors are better than the aromas with nice cocoa, good roasted malt. On the sweeter side but with a nice bitter finish.

Courtesy of Wayne Wambles. Pours a very dark brown with a one finger light tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some chocolate, and a hint of dark fruit in the finish. Taste is the same as aroma with a rich roasty goodness in the middle with chocolate and coffee following suit. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and slightly roasty finish. A damn fine brew.

Bottle courtesy of WayneWambles. Pours a hazy dark brown to black color with thin white head. Aroma is malty and sweet with notes of sugar plums, candy sugar, chocolate, ripe dark fruit. Flavor is malty with notes of coffee, bakers chocolate, ripe dark fruit, molasses, some faint roasted toffee notes. Generally medium to full body with a pleasing and malty finish.

Pours deep darkness with tan head. The aroma is dark roasty malts going into burnt molasses, toffee, a hint of dark chocolate and just a sense of dark fruity esters. The taste feels thinner than I expected bringing in dark roasty malts, some chocolate and black patent type malts. The highly roasted malts hold on in a robust way all the way to the finish. Nice stuff.

courtesy of Wayne. Pours clear brown with light beige head. Aroma of light roasted malts with notes of coffee. Taste roasted malts, coffee, possible light nutty mouthfeel, light hops and chocolate. Enjoyable, light mouthfeel makes for a good low abv stout.

2-liter bottle, courtesy Wayne. Pours dark brown, with reddish haze, creamy head and lacing. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, some banana, molasses is slight. Flavor is dry, smooth and crisp. Hard roasted grain, wheaty, dry finish. Smooth and very drinkable. Finishes with a coffee touch.
