Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 3, 2007 I tried, but I couldn’t smell it. Red oak color, light filmy head. A smooth and understated parched pistachio nuttiness. Bitterness was really a light astringency. Front of the tasting presents a faint sweetness, but overall it’s pretty dry. Interesting, session-style, some chocolate notes, but ultimately it’s weak. Braudog (3732), Dayton, Ohio, USA Apr 17, 2005 Red-brown with a standard film head and a vegetable-based aroma. Then I had to drink it ... and this is perhaps the worst tasting beer I’ve had in a long time ... buttery yuckness, like dirty soda water. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Mar 29, 2005 Attractive, clear mahogany with a great head. The aroma has a touch of chlorine (a few of the other milder-flavored beers exhibited this trait, which makes we wonder if they used city water on this). The flavor has a nice woody malt, and the chlorine seems to fade quickly leaving behind a tasty beer.
