ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Nov 23, 2007 Appearance: Pours an opaque black body with a small, khaki-colored head.
Smell: Mild aroma of roasted grains and dark chocolate. There may be more to be coaxed out of the aroma, but darned if they don’t serve their beer exceptionally cold.
Taste: Roasted malts with a pleasant dark chocolate flavor and a subtle sweetness. Slight graininess. The hops remain relatively light allowing for a mainly roasty finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability: You know something, it’s actually pretty good.
