Old gold colored, with a very thin white head. Wheaty, rye-ish aroma. Flavor is a mish-mash of flavors, with notes of rye, banana, bubblegum, clove, and some other spices I can’t identify, cand caramel. Dryish, peppery finish. At 2007 Hickory Hops.

Draught during my NC brew tour. Pours a copper color with a fair white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity with hints of banana bread, though no serious spiced character is here. The flavor is pretty sugary with more flavors of banana while the alcohol warms my nasal passages. The finish brings out some more wooden flavor like oak and apple peels. This is a fairly solid brew, just a touch on the sweet side with a modicum of artificialness.
