| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with bubbly white head that laced the glass. Slightly sweet with a fresh cereal grain nose and flavor accentled by light sprucy hops. Very refreshing. Suttree (2740), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 31, 2005 Rating Craft brewer’s "light" offering is always a bit of a dicey proposition. You can almost taste the brewer’s disdain and the marketing meeting that went into it. This one was pretty much typical of the genre. Hazy yella, with a big white head. Fruity, grapey aroma. So they got the look and smell right. Slightly grainy, then a sour metallic flavor through the finish. I had no idea wheat was involved until I went to rate it. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Nov 15, 2005 Draught... hrm, I share Suttree’s confusion that this had anything to do with wheat. Pours yellow with soapy white head. The aroma is kind of like buttered corn, very old grain, and artificial fruit. The flavor is hay, cardboard, and ancient stale grain, with some chemical notes reminiscent of styrofoam, and a sour finish. The aftertaste is very unpleasant and lingers a bit too long. It certainly has much more flavor than a typical light, but, unfortunately, those flavors are not very tasty. lithy (1750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 26, 2009 On tap at Union Jack’s. Very pale yellow with a thin white head. Light malt and steely aroma, with a hint of what can only be described as those store brand cheese puffs. Is that the wheat coming through in a weird way on this light beer? Because the taste is much the same, bland, watery, lightly sweet with that same aftertaste of cheese puffs. NachlamSie (1644), Tennessee, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 2, 2007 Draught during my NC brew tour. Sometimes I wonder why I do this to myself. The sampler comes with four beers and this is one of the ones I haven’t rated yet. So, here I am. At least this won’t affect my palate. Pours very light urine color with a white head. The aroma is of corn husks, apparent DMS. The papery finish is the most assertive note. A far off floral something might be there. Light indeed, how is this a wheat beer? I guess it technically may contain wheat products or have been processed in a facility which handles wheat products.
