Commercial Description:
One of our seasonal brews! A malty German style Marzen celebrating the fall months and the end of summer. The use of generous malts create a silky texture and roundness which fills your pallet. Seven malts yield a wonderful light brown hue.

Draught. Pours a deep red with a long lasting white head. The aroma is very malty with a bit of smoky, leafy notes. Apples are in the flavor along with subtle notes of bark, dried leaves, and the like. This is a bit too sweet.

Pours out your typical mazen orange color. Aroma is spicy and somewhat sweet. Flavor is not very memorable and is you run of thje mill marzen.

A great brew if you want to fool your kindergarten teacher, because it does indeed look exactly like apple juice. Pleasant mouthfeel and a pleasingly autumn-like nose of aged grasses, smoothly carbonated. Tasting of malt and caramel, but then ruined by a rather overwhelming hoppy finish that such a light brew just can’t suppport. Not aweful, but nothing I’d reccomend.

Sampled at Brewgrass Fest. Pale copper color. Aroma has some mild herbal hops. Seemed a bit off...not as clean as I prefer my Marzens.

Draught. Applejuice color with thin offwhite head. The aroma is kind of bread-like with something like sour apple and a good dose of malt. The flavor is creamy malt and leafy hops. The palate is kind of weird.

Clear Copper, nice tan head. Aroma of malty toast, or toasty malt. More hops than I would expect, then a slightly caramel finish. A bit watery, seems to lack the richness I would expect.
