Commercial Description:
One of our seasonal brews! A malty German style Marzen celebrating the fall months and the end of summer. The use of generous malts create a silky texture and roundness which fills your pallet. Seven malts yield a wonderful light brown hue.

Draft sample at Knoxville Brew Jam. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted caramel malt aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Clear Copper, nice tan head. Aroma of malty toast, or toasty malt. More hops than I would expect, then a slightly caramel finish. A bit watery, seems to lack the richness I would expect.

This was a beer. The aroma with rather bland but not unpleasant as was the flavor. I was not surprised to find that it was at 4%. After finding that out I scored it a tad higher as an easy drinker that is not flawed but is not special.

Draught. Applejuice color with thin offwhite head. The aroma is kind of bread-like with something like sour apple and a good dose of malt. The flavor is creamy malt and leafy hops. The palate is kind of weird.

Clear orange-red, white cover. Aroma is fruity, malty, heavy. Taste is fruity, apples, peaches, pears, clean caramel malt, but a light sourness.

Draught. Pours a deep red with a long lasting white head. The aroma is very malty with a bit of smoky, leafy notes. Apples are in the flavor along with subtle notes of bark, dried leaves, and the like. This is a bit too sweet.

Sampled at 2009 charlotte octoberfest. A little more on the fruity side of the octoberfest spectrum. A little bit of baked bread aroma and nuttiness in the flavor.
