on tap-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is medium malt, secondary hops. Taste is dark malt-coffee, equal secondary hops bitterness, acidic. OK carbonation. Occasional

Draft sample at Knoxville Brew Jam. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Medium roasted bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of long duration. My expectations where met.

Black body with a light tan head. The aroma was roasted nuts and some coffee with chocolate. Taste of strong roasted coffee and and a little milk chocolate. The aftertaste lingers. Thin body for an impy stout, more like a dry.

Got this from www.kegofthemonthclub.com in a 5 liter keg. The appearance was black as night with a nice mocha colored thick everpresent head. Aroma is faint but pick up hints of coffee and chocolate. Very enjoyable bitter flavor with hints of bittersweet chocolate. Not as sweet as other Imperials as I have had - but still very pleasing. A tad thin on the mouthfeel but does not distract from the quality of this. Overall, an excellent stout - more like a dry stout - but who's counting.

Draught at the brewpub. dark, dark brown, red around the edges. Almost opaque. Brown head that laced the glass. Attractive flowery hop nose. Light roasty malt flavor dominated by perfumy tasting hops. Good stout.

Mini Keg courtesy of Degarth. Pours up dark darkness with nice frothy – creamy mocha head. The aroma is of roasted to burnt malts then into ashy-ness. The taste is much the same with highly roasted malts that head toward burnt malts and some hints of coffee. Really roasty brew but far from an Imperial Stout in style.

Thick and black, with a creamy dark tan head. Oatmeal and grain aroma. While it has a thick mouthfeel, the flavor is actually quite dry. Maybe a little more hop flavor and less traditional stout flavors like coffee and chocolate, but still quite good. Dusty dry finish.
