RBSG 2007. Hoppy aroma, sweet, with some citrus off-ness. Slightly hazy dark gold with a light tan head and some lace. Reminds me in flavor of the Mendocino White Hawk IPA. Very nice with good balance. A nice IPA.

RBSG 2007: Bottle: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, bready light malts, some grassy notes. Flavor, bready, sweet up front, some light fruity and floral notes, not too much bitterness.

RBSG 2007. The beer pours to a hazy golden body with a thin white head. The aroma is weedy and malty. Simple. The flavor is bitter grapefruit hops and spruce with simple caramel malts. Bitter average palate.

Pours an orange-tea into the glass. There is a nice frothy head that diminishes to a ring and leaves thick, sticky lace. The nose has some citrus, caramel and floral notes. The flavors are of heavy grapefruit, sour caramel malt and a lasting peppery finish. The mouthfeel is sticky and oily. The grapefruit and hop contingencies work quite well together, combining great notes of an IPA.

Bottle.Zzzzzz. Heavy on the stomach. Ultrageneric citrusy bitter aftertaste. A beer you will soon forget. It’s kinda sweet. I can’t think of anything nice to say about this one so I will keep quiet. A solid "C" student if it were in grade school.

Draft: First pour from a newly tapped keg that seemed to be having flow issues. Cherry aroma. Amber colored with a thin head and good lacing. Charred wood flavor, thick mouthfeel. Very pronounced grapefruit finish. Enjoyable.
