22oz bottle via Secret Santa Summer 2009-Pours a clear amber with a large beige head. Nose is mild..not much happening... lemony and alcoholic. Taste is tea (crystal malts), some toffee, orange, lemon, pine and grassy hops. Body is light, carbonation is medium. A bit thin. An almost average IPA.

Explosive gushing to huge, yellow, dense head over hazy orange beer. C-hops, bit of citruszeste, ureum and bit cheesy. Good C-hops again for flavour, but again a tad cheesy. Light green spring leaves. Very well-carbonated, slick, medium bodied. Very nice IPA, nothing boastful, but quite OK. Big thanks to CK!

Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pours a clear brown amber. Sweet caramel on the nose, but not so much in terms of hops. Thin to medium body, with a light hop bitterness.

Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours a clear burnt orange. Aroma is very malty with raisiny notes. Flavor is sweet initially (some watermelon?) and very malty. Somewhat bland and the palate is on the harsh side. Meh. 6/4/6/3/13 (3.2/5)

Bottle: Golden pour with a wispy head. Lightly sweet aroma of pale malts meshes with mild vegetal/subdued U.S. hop character- Light on the palate- nutty character in the flavor with some peanut brittle sweetness but it remains dry with a grassy finish. Nothing great, not too bad.

Bottle. Aroma caramelly and malty, toasted, maybe even a bit burnt, lightly citrus bittering hops. Flavor again caramelly with balancing bitter, mildly citrus hops. Ok, certainly not a standout.

PPRBSG09. Bottle, pours a golden orange body with a white head. More like an English bitter than an ipa, some spicy bitter earth hoppiness and a hint of citrus. eh.
