Nice fresh hoppy aroma - citrus and floral notes dominate, some honey and lighter malt based aromas in the background. Medium body and carbonation, clean palate, mildly resinous. Starts off with some light toffee flavor, grapefruit rind follows into a long,, bitter finish. raiderfost (158), virginia beach, Virginia, USA

Poured out a dark golden color, with a sticky tan colored head. Aromas are "C" hops all the way. Flavors are pretty much "C" hops as well. Medium mouthfeel, OK body. Typical APA in my book. Nothing special here. jeremytoni (1110), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Stinky citrus fruit nose, papery but piney hops, lacking vibrancy and depth, and there’s some wet cardboard/oxidation showing up as well. Lightly crisp and fruity on the tongue, turning to sour, wet vegetables in the finish. A simple beer, I think a flawed recipe, but more importantly it tastes like it suffered in the bottle. iowaherkeye (1860), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Updated: Nov 1, 200722oz bomber, no date from Immy, thanks Tim! Clear pale orange with a half finger creamy off-white head. A spotty sheet of lacing is left behind on the glass. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops and a strong sweet biscuity malt background. Flavor still has a pretty decent amount of malts, and they seem to be more caramelly, almost leading me to think this is more of an APA (because of how prominant the malts are, not because they’re caramelly). Not a whole heck of a lot of bitterness here (peaks around a 3), though the citrus and floral hops are refreshing. Well balanced. Medium body, light to moderate carbonation. Pleasantly surprised here.
