Commercial Description:
Batch #9 is an American Style Red Ale. This classic is chestnut in color and medium in body. We added a few extra hops to make it interesting.
Olde Richmond Beer Company beers are contract brewed by the St. George Brewing Company.

Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Downtown. No, you won’t find any more. Reddish brown color with a medium head and good retention and lacing. Slightly tart caramel aroma. Very grainy taste with fruity and spicy notes. Smooth. Medium body.

Bomber. Deep amber with reddish overtones with ample light-tan head. Toasty and nutty aroma and flavor. A little thin on the body. My favorite of the Olde Richmond beers.

Pours a coca-cola brown with amber hues. Head is toasted white and big. Aroma is chocolate, bourbon, spicy. Taste is a little watery, but there is good flavor here with chocolate, licorice, cardamon, and bourbon barrel. Vegetable hops slightly. Predominately anise and chocolate. I like this one.

Bottle from Norms. I swore I rated this quite some time ago. Never the less, this beer was very good. Redish hue when poured. It’s pretty easy to drink, but that’s about it. Easily forgettable, but worthwhile to get if you have the option.
