Commercial Description:
Brewed in the grand tradition of the Vienna beers of Austria and the Marzenbiers of Munich, Olde Saratoga Premium Lager is a smooth, medium-bodied lager with a pale copper color and a rich aroma. German hops and imported Munich malt impart an intriguing balance between light, soft bitterness and a refreshing sweetness. Hand-crafted with an "old world" attention to detail, Olde Saratoga Premium Lager is a sure bet every time.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left a few scattered patches of lace. Odd aroma of malt, sweet caramel and rotting fruit. I like sweet beers, but this beer smells sickly sweet, in a bad way. That sweetness is thankfully not present in the flavor, which is basically malt and caramel with some mild bitterness at the finish. Probably not something I would look to buy again.

Pours a clear deep brown color, minimal head. Aroma is sweet and malty, some doughyness and chocolate present. Taste is sweet, malt and hops both noted. Nice clean taste, good smooth palate and full body. Very enjoyable- easy to drink more than 1.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with no lot code or expiration date. The pour is a nice looking ambver with a half inch off-white head that dissolves slowly. It has an aromatic caramel and malts scent which is quite pleasant on the nose. The mouthfeel is medium and kind of a smooth texture. The taste is bitter and hopped to a noticeable but not overpowering degree. Pretty decent.

...wow, this beer, for some unholy reason made me shit myself, and liquid scream. I only gave it a 20 overall because of this reason. I don’t know what it was, but I definitely ruined the party, my pants, as well as the walls. OOOPS!

Had this one bottled in Glens Falls, New York. Clear, medium brownish red pour with a nice thick tan head, nose of sweet grassy malts, very nice citrusy notes in the flavor, and a dry finish. Excellent.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, toasted malt, light brown sugar and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with some crispness around the edges. Flavors of toasted malt, carmel and light earthiness with a smooth lightly dry malty finish.

Caramel malts dominate with some light fruit aromas. Pours a pale copper color with little to no head. Malty and fruity with some caramel flavors, mild hop bite in the end. Not exciting.

(Bottle). Sweet malt fruity aroma. Copper amber body, light tan head. Flavor is sweet and malty, with a touch of apple fruitiness. Mild lasting finish.
