Commercial Description:
Brewed in the grand tradition of the Vienna beers of Austria and the Marzenbiers of Munich, Olde Saratoga Premium Lager is a smooth, medium-bodied lager with a pale copper color and a rich aroma. German hops and imported Munich malt impart an intriguing balance between light, soft bitterness and a refreshing sweetness. Hand-crafted with an "old world" attention to detail, Olde Saratoga Premium Lager is a sure bet every time.

Refrigerated bottle at Marikkas. Usual bread and metal aroma of lagers. Slightly sweet with hints of cherries and dark fruits. Finishes very clean. OK

Light amber body, but otherwise not much here. Better on tap but still pretty bad.

Medium gold, almost in the amber range, white head. Doughy aroma, some very light hops. Similar favor, light hop finish. Light to medium bodied, quaffable. Not all that bad.

Bottle - aroma was malty but with German, spicy hops. Cloudy, dirty gold with a white, white head. Very nice flavor! Malty sweet with just a hint of the spicy hop in the finish. Soft on the palate, maybe a touch of fizz. Underrated.

Deep gold in color with a large white head. Aroma is of mild butter, butterscotch and malt. Clean malt flavor, with a good mouthfeel, silky on your palate, low carbonation makes this very drinkable.Finishes crisp and dry.

Pale light hazy orange with a thin small bubbled head. Sweet malts, with a bready character. Smooth nice mouthfeel, very easy to drink. Ends quick and dry.

This one is not bad. Pours a deep amber color with a nice fullfy head that fades into a nice ring of foam that seems to stay present. The nose is malty and has some light fruity aromas. The taste is like that of a toasted breakfast cereal, with some jammy toasty aftertastes that linger on the palate. This has a great malt character with some nice sweetness, great aftertaste, and super easy to drink.

Light amber colour. Bready aroma. Taste was caramelish malts, a little oxidized. Light hops. A little watery. If you look up "average" in a dictionary, you would see a picture of this beer.
