Commercial Description:
The lightest beer we brew, but still packed with all the good qualities of ale. It is golden in colour and lightly hopped with a variety of German aromatic hops. Red Fife is a strain of wheat developed in the Peterborough area by David Fife, and was used nation wide a century ago.

On tap at Brewpub
Appearance: Filtered wheat . Clear dark gold with presentable white cap.3+
Nose : fruity , aromatic nose , blend of wheat and hops.
Flavor/Palate : Soft , medium bodied , silky smooth brew. Good depth especially for style, Light bitters up front with sift wheat and fruity feel behind. Drinkable brew, nicely done.

Nothing wild in this one, easy drinking but least favorite of the ones i tried. golden color, some white foam, nose had a little hops to it. Flavor is very muted, kinda bland some hops a little wheat sort of but drinkable.

On tap at the Olde Stone Brewpub. Pale golden pour with a touch of coppery hue. Held a small bit of bitterness. It’s a fairly easy drink to take down, and after my half-pint was done, I was glad to move on to my favourite Belgians.

4oz sample from brewpub. Golden pour with a sparse white head. Aroma is very toned down, and for a wheat ale there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of wheat going on.

On tap. Easily the worst beer sampled at the brewpub, this was nothing more than a generic lager with some mild grain like sweetness thrown in. Medium yellow, little head, very little aroma, and very little taste. I wrote notes and I still find it forgettable.
